Rare Vintage Coleman Lantern - Pat May 13 1919 - Nickel Base - Unknown - 228 ?

This is a Vintage Coleman Lantern. I do not see a model number anywhere but to me it looks similar to a 228? The brass tube in the center is stamped Pat May 13 1919.
The green top is in good shape, no chips or dings. The nickel plated base is in very good shape too. I am not an expert on grading lanterns so please take a look at all the photos and decide for yourself. The collar area and knob look like they were painted black at some point. The brass tube with the patent dates has some plier marks on it. The pump area on the base looks like maybe it is partially pushed in? Not sure what it is supposed to look like, see all the photos up close.
The early etched Pyrex/Coleman glass globe in in good shape no chips cracks or scratches.
Any fuel has been drained. The lantern has not been tested, sold as-is. What you see is what you get.
