Here is a desirable nut dish or nappy made of chocolate glass by the Indiana Tumbler & Goblet Co of Greentown Indiana. This piece is made in the "Leaf Bracket" pattern ca 1900. The glass is sometimes referred to as a carmel slag because of the swirls of different brown. There are 3 little feet on the bottom. This lovely piece is 4 1/2" from the inside of the handle to the end (5 1/2" including the handle) x 3 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" in height. There is what looks like I chip but I was informed that this is an under fill when not enough of the slag was put in the mold. In Warmman's Glass Value & Identification Guide it shows this piece on page 230 & a value of at replacemants they want for this piece. Thanks Norma
