This auction is for tumbler from Richards and Hartley produced in the late 1880's This pattern is called "Mikado" or "Daisy and Button with Crossbars." It is amber in color and stands 3 1/2" in height and almost 2 1/2" in diameter around the top rim. In the book Early American Glass by Reilly and Jenks they say there are no look alike or reproductions. There is normal wear around the glass but no chips or cracks. Thanks Norma.

Description
Here is a beautiful chocolate slag tumbler in the cactus pattern made in the early 1900's. This design features 6 panels each with a stylized agave cactus, each leaf is surrounded by dots. Each panel is boarded by a vertical line of raised slashes and along the top is a border of tiny vertical lines. Smooth around the rim. This lovely tumbler stands 4" in height and 2 3/4" in diameter. It is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
