For sale is
a figurine of a Japanese Chin / some sort of Spaniel like the King Charles Spaniel or Pekinese dog (and yes I suck at my dog breed identification) made by Augarten in the mid 20th century . This is the black version but a brown version also exists of this model. Superbly modeled with lots of detail and hand painted to perfection! The dog is 2.5 inches tall, 3.25 inches long and 1.625 inches deep. The figure is in perfect condition and is marked underneath with the impressed shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, a black number 219, impressed numbers 1677 and the letter G and Made in Austria as shown.
